Authentic
A Japanese streetscape made to be walked through, not just looked at.
KUBO-DORI久保通り · SÃO PAULOAn alley inspired by Tokyo’s yokochō, with seven Japanese businesses at one address. At its heart, Kubo Kaizō: a glass workshop for people who take their Japanese cars seriously.

In Tokyo, yokochō are narrow alleys where counters, workshops and bars share the same pavement. You arrive for one reason and leave with three more.
Kubo-Dori brings that idea to São Paulo’s North Side. Storefronts, lanterns and an authentic Japanese streetscape, with independent businesses that complement each other: come for a car service and stay for ramen; come to sing and leave with photos of the car on the lift.
A Japanese streetscape made to be walked through, not just looked at.
A permanent home for people who currently meet in car parks, petrol stations and events.
Light, glass and neon designed for the shot. The street reaches your feed before you arrive.
Each business has its own owner, menu and personality. Together, they make somewhere to spend the whole night.

03Slow-simmered broth, a stool and steam rising over the counter.
04Skewers, sake and a full table until late.
05Private rooms for your group, Tokyo-style.

KUBO KAIZŌ · THE ALLEY’S WORKSHOP
KUBO KAIZŌ / WORKSHOP · LOUNGEEverything at Kubo-Dori revolves around the car on the lift. That is why Kubo Kaizō turns the traditional workshop inside out: nothing happens behind a closed door.
Two lifts, glass walls and a lounge facing the work. Follow every stage of your car’s progress up close, with a coffee in hand.
Two lifts behind glass. See who works on your car, how they do it and what they use. Transparency is built into the architecture.
An armchair, coffee and Wi-Fi. Work while you wait, chat with fellow JDM owners or simply watch the job take shape.
Cameras in the workshop from day one. With your permission, your project becomes content on @kubokaizo, from arrival to the moment it drives away.
From everyday maintenance to a benchmark build. All in one place, with genuine parts and hands that know JDM.
Authentic imported widebody kits, with fitment, geometry and finishing done properly. A service that few shops in Brazil get right.
Turbo upgrades, engine swaps and performance tuning. Engineered properly, without shortcuts.
Installation, ride-height adjustment and alignment for the street, shows or the track.
Full or partial wraps, with quality film and a showroom finish.
Our own import channel, direct from Japan. Authentic parts without a middleman.
Servicing and preventive care for those who drive their Japanese car every day.
Every project gets a tailored estimate after we assess the car.
Request an estimateJapan’s great workshops have shown that building cars also means building culture. Kubo Kaizō starts with three lessons.
From the Chiba workshops that took the Supra to speed records: sound engineering is what makes a car truly fast.
Kyoto gave us the exposed-rivet widebody that became the face of modern JDM. The lesson: fitting it well matters as much as designing it well.
In Nagoya, the workshop became a showroom, shop and café under one roof. The lesson: people want to watch, stay and come back.
Engineering, style and experience. At one address in São Paulo.
